Upcoming Event: Halloween Retreat

What to bring? Your best Halloween costume, warm cloths, sleeping
bag, flashlight, friends and lots of courage.

This years Youth Halloween Retreat will be awesome as usual with some new added excitement to boot. If we can get a minimum of 25 campers attending the retreat we will spend Saturday evening at Dorney Park 's special Halloween fright night! That's right we will have many of our usual cool and spooky activities such as: A digital scarecrow scavenger hunt, pumpkin carving, costume contest, great classes, worship service plus the added bonus of Dorney Park 's fright night! So remember get on facebook, text your friends, email or call them to come to Deer Park for the Halloween Retreat on October 21-23. The Retreat will cost $70. The deadline for having your check and registration form submitted is October 14th! It is critical this year in particular in order to buy discounted Dorney Park tickets! So don't delay! You can obtain a generic registration form using the link below and print several off so your friends can registrar too! The retreat is for 6-12 graders. We will start by 7:30 Friday and the retreat will be over by 11 AM Sunday. So I hope to see all your spooky faces on Friday October 21 at Dear Park .

Mahatma Gandhi taught that we should endeavor to be the change that we wish to see in the world.
Join us as we Seek Peace, Act Peace, Be Peace.
Become actively engaged in the direction of the church as we fellowship, worship, and dialogue with each other.

Become actively engaged in our world as we serve by donating our time to the Habitat for Humanity on Saturday.

Cost for the retreat, noted below, will be collected during check-in at Deer Park or may be mailed to Sherry at the address above. Checks should be made payable to the Mid-Atlantic Mission Center.
Full weekend $65

Please plan to bring your green shirt, or an additional $15 to purchase one. We will wear them on Saturday as we clean, paint, and prepare homes with ACHIEVEability of Philadelphia.
The weekend will consist of a good mix of structured fellowship and free time to connect with friends. Specific activities for the weekend will include:
Campfires
Contemporary Worship
Games
Breakout Sessions
Team-Building Activities
Community Service Opportunity

The retreat will officially begin Friday at 7 p.m. with registration, followed by our opening activity at 8:00, and will end with a culminating worship at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday.
