The group spent a few hours in downtown New Hope passing out poems &amp; Capri Suns to pedestrians. The group also paid for parking for visitors to the community. The experience was awesome! We encountered many different people who appreciated the break from the heat. We also talked to several people who explained how much the poems and our actions touched their lives.<br/><br/>The first woman we spoke to was given a poem outside of Starbucks. She had just moved from Florida with her daughter. She explained that the poem reaffirmed her decision to move, and brought her to tears. <br/><br/>Another woman expressed surprise and appreciation. She had been assaulted by other christian churches for her lifestyle choices and was amazed that a christian group could be so kind and accepting.<br/>
